Mile Hi Church

The annual Christmas 2023 Candlelight Ceremony services. Both Saturday, 12/23/23 and Sunday, 12/24/23, @ 1PM 4PM and 7PM both days. We attended Saturday's 7PM service. A lot of Christmas spirit from the speakers/ministers, the superb music program and the soloists. The service was a festive way for me to celebrate the Christmas season and also for a friend who came with me. The program centered around the meaning of Christmas - the presentation was excellent. There is a hour's recording on YouTube of the Mile Hi Church Christmas Candlelight program. I want to write down all the affirmations from the program and use them throughout the year.

Mile Hi was a safe space for my sister to receive positive messages and discover her connection with a higher power for many years while she struggled with addiction. Such a warm and welcoming group here, and truly welcoming to all who attend. I will always hold this church in high regard for being able to reach folks who are struggling and for being a source of support for those most in need. Our family also received support by the church when my sister passed away, with Reverend Michelle officiating my sister’s Celebration of Life. The Reverend brought so much positivity and light during a difficult time. Thank you all, your work benefits so many!

Special place to practice your own spiritual development. This center for spiritual living has removed a lot of dogma that encircles organized religions. Instead, you get access to real practices to enrich your life and share that overflowing love. My wife and I have taken several paid classes that were worth every dollar. We attend Sunday morning services with our four kids in Sunday school groups.

This is a great place to be spiritual and explore the truths found in all faiths. It's a new thought kind of place that honors god differently than you'd see in a typical Christian church. If you're all about Jesus being the only path, you probably won't be a fan. If you're about gleaning important messages and truths through the examination of many faiths, this is your place. It's very welcoming of people with all kinds of looks, hair, clothes, whatever. The leaders are energetic and passionate about the messages they spread. The only reason I took off a star is because, as a millennial (someone who's on the younger end of the spectrum of attendees), it's hard to get past the cheesy music. My husband and I find it cringey. I'd go for more soul, personally. However, the kind people, welcoming atmosphere, and the thought-provoking messages keep us interested. It's a very positive place to visit.
